Shot taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II set on aperture (Av) priority using an EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens tripod mounted. The exposure was taken at 20mm, f/16 for 1/6th of a second at ISO 100 using a Singh-Ray warming polarizer filter. Post capture processing was done in Adobe’s Lightroom 3.

Great Exposure and Dynamic Range. Did you have to do any Shadows/Highlights adjustment in post?
This image was tough to expose properly and yes I did perform some LR3 and CS5 magic.

Awesome photo! This photo draws my attention to the embossed image on the rock in the foreground to the clouds approaching the well defined horizon. There are lots of elements in the photo, one could study this image for quite some time. Good use of filtering and color balancing. This one is one of my favorites of yours. Great work and thanks for sharing.

) and the comp is great! lots of eye lead ins and it keeps your interest well…. not to mention DRAMA! well done…
