Shot taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II set on aperture (Av) priority using an EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM tripod mounted. The exposure was taken at 50mm, f/14 for 1/30th of a second at ISO 100 using a Singh-Ray warming polarizer filter and 2-stop, soft, graduated neutral density filter. Post capture processing was done in Adobe’s Lightroom 4.

We have some 90 years old out walking our events. True they are doing the 5K instead of the 10K but they are still walking. It is never to late to lace up your shoe laces if age is the only thing holding you back.
I really like the vanishing point. Did you think of shooting this with a fisheye lens and correcting the distortion (with DxO Optics would better I believe)? I think it will give more depth, specially if you corrected the distortion without keeping the aspect ratio option on. It would look like a small panoramic shot.
