Bird Photography – Winter Retreat

One of the benefits of living along the Texas Gulf Coast is the variety of birds we see during the winter months like these two beautiful ducks I caught last weekend.

  1. could you tell me your workflow steps using lightroom and noise ninja. Which is 1st, I am particularly interested to know when do you use noise ninja in your workflow.

    Thanks

    • Ayman,

Thanks for reading. My RAW workflow is fairly simple.

      1) Import Canon .cr2 files into Lightroom 2.2, converting into .dng format

      2) Crop and process as needed using Lightroom’s Develop module

      3) Review 100% crop and export to Noise Ninja if needed

      4) This creates a final TIFF file that I then export to JPEG for web or print as needed

  2. Simply stunning. Your talent is worthy of such a fine piece of gear but more importantly, your fine 50D is so much worthy of your artist talent.
