- Bill Neill’s latest exhibit at the Ansel Adams Gallery called Yosemite Classics is going on right now and you can follow it online. You can also find many of these images in Bill’s book entitled Yosemite: The Promise of Wilderness.
- Bill Neill’s assistant (and incredible photographic talent) John O’Connor posted an interesting image on his blog last evening. I believe congratulations are in order! BTW – I have one of John’s wonderful prints hanging proudly in my office, offering me inspiration at a glance. It’s called Oak Saplings in Fog, Sierra Nevada Foothills, California 2008.
- My friend Mark Krajnak (the K-Man) is featured in Joe McNally’s latest book, The Hot Shoe Diaries – Big Light From Small Flashes. Its amazing how Mark can go from corporate executive to photographer to model and back again without losing his mind.
- Josh Bradley is back on the scene and has posted a really cool “multiplicity” shot in his latest post. BTW – If you use any of Nik Software’s Photoshop filters you really need to pick up a copy of Josh’s book The Official Nik Software Image Enhancement Guide: The Photographer’s Resource for Professional Workflow Techniques.
Jeff,
Thanks!! It’s definitely a surprise, but a great surprise non the less! I drug the family up to Yosemite for Bill’s opening last night, looks really nice. I’d also love to see a picture of the print hanging in your office if you ever get a chance.
Cheers,
John
John,
Congratulations to you and your growing family. I have four daughters myself and its a blessing beyond compare.
Jeff
As to your friend, Mark, if it wasn’t for photography, I would go insane in my corporate world. Thanks for the links.
Michael
Mark,
You sound like a Texan! Have a great weekend.
Jeff
It’s only a problem when I wear the fedora and pack the .45 sitting down to a staff meeting.
Then again…it does command a certain amount of respect. 😀
