Here’s another aircraft image taken last fall at the Wings Over Houston air show that I liked but never could decide how best to present. I’ve always liked the “grunge” look ever since I saw some of Dave Hill’s incredible work and found a grunge tutorial on Jeff Revell’s blog describing a simple Photoshop technique to achieve similar results.

Shot taken with a Canon 40D set on shutter priority (Tv), using an EF 300mm f/4L IS USM. The exposure was taken at 300mm, f/11 for 1/125th of a second at ISO 100 on Sandisk digital film. All post capture processing was done in Lightroom 2 and Photoshop CS3. Click on the image above for a larger version.
