Here’s another shot taken last week at the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area near Fredericksburg, Texas. The early morning sun had risen over the mountains in the distance just enough to to highlight the clouds and provide some wonderful contrast to the rocks and trees. Enjoy!

Love the way the layers pull me into the image – the foreground, the peak and the sky just work together perfectly.
I love Enchanted Rock. One of my favorite places. Climb all day go out that night drive to a German pub and a cold beer and Brat. Later sit out under that stars.
Hey Matt,
That sounds like a plan to me!
